QueShan Current Situation

On May 9, 1980, Mr. Limin Li established the first violin manufacturing plant in Henan Province-Redhythm Violin Factory-the predecessor of Derhythm Violin Factory.

Mr. Limin Li studied under Professor Tan Shuzhen, the first generation violin player and luthier in China. He graduated from the Musical Instrument Research Institute of Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 1970. After graduation, he entered the new Chinese violin manufacturing plant to study the violin making process. After the reform and opening up in 1980, Mr. Li Limin responded to the call of the party and the state and set up a Redhythm Violin factory.

Due to its exquisite skills, the scale of the Redhythm Violin factory has gradually expanded, and a concentrated violin village has been formed in Queshan. The development is extremely rapid and it is gradually exported to foreign countries.

Now, Queshan manual violin is the violin city with the largest violin production in the world. Where there is music, there is the figure of Queshan handmade viloin, with exquisitely crafted violin sound. At the same time, many more masters of violin making have won gold medals in European and American violin making competitions. Many domestic national symphony orchestras use violin instruments made by Queshan.
